Deane Morrison is a science writer at the University of Minnesota, where she authors the Minnesota Starwatch column. This month, Earth passes Mars, and Jupiter passes Venus. In addition to all the moving around, Earth is moving toward aphelion, while Mars closes in. Deane sets it all straight in this edition of Northern Sky.
