Local resident Eric Larsen first ever to reach both Poles and Everest in one year

Explorer Eric Larsen of Grand Marais and Boulder, Colo. recently summitted Everest, becoming the first person ever to reach the North and South Poles and Everest in a single year. He spoke with Buck Oct. 29 about his successful Save the Poles Expedition.
