Local 2007 high school grad contributes to relief effort in Haiti

On Jan. 12, a devastating earthquake struck Haiti, leaving thousands dead and hundreds of thousands homeless. Relief workers from around the world travelled to Haiti to offer aid, including Cook County’s own Tyler Dean.  Tyler maintians a blog about his experiences. WTIP’s Carah Thomas spoke to Tyler from his home in Pismo Beach, California.
