Julie Buckles tells of her 1,700-mile canoe honeymoon in a canoe she & her husband built themselves

In 1999, Julie Buckles and her new husband built a wood and canvas canoe and set off on a 1,700-mile canoe honeymoon on the Voyageur Highway from Lake Superior to Wollaston Lake. She recently wrote a book about their adventure, "Paddling to Winter," available in bookstores and online. Julie spoke with Dick June 20 live at the North House Wooden Boat Show on the harbor.
