Cook County Commissioner Sue Hakes is a 2014 recipient of the Bush Foundation’s leadership fellowship. The foundation named her one of 24 exceptional leaders from across Minnesota, the Dakotas and two dozen Native nations. WTIP’s Jay Andersen spoke with Hakes about the award and her future plans.
