Cook County Soil and Water in partnership with the Poplar River Management Board has received a $687,000 award to help clean up sediment in the Poplar River at Lutsen. Cindy Gentz is Cook County’s Water Plan Coordinator. WTIPs Jay Andersen interviewed her on the AM Community Calendar program about the project and the public kick-off event on Nov. 20.
