Five candidates are running for Grand Marais city government positions. WTIP broadcast those interviews last week on the AM Community Calendar program, now they’ll be re-broadcast on the PM Community Calendar from 5 to 6 p.m. You’ll also be able to find the interviews on: wtip.org.
 
Former Mayor Mark Sandbo is being challenged by write-in candidate Larry “Bear” Carlson. Three candidates -- incumbent councilman Bill Lenz, former councilman Bob Spry and Dave Palmer are competing for two council seats.
 
Listen to the city council interviews, Monday through Wednesday and the two mayoral interviews on Thursday. This week on WTIPs PM Community Calendar, 5 to 6 p.m.
