Filing continues for candidates facing primary election

The 2010 Primary Election filing period continues through Tuesday, June 1st.  
 
Seven county offices are up for election as are three Soil and Water District Supervisor posts.
 
As of Friday incumbent Bruce Martinson has filed for Commissioner District 5 as have Diane Parker and  Paul James.  Incumbent Bob Fenwick has filed for Commissioner District 3, as have Keith Kuckler, Cathi Williams and Grand Marais Mayor Sue Hakes.  Incumbent Janice Hall has filed in District 1, as has Bill Hennessy.
 
County Recorder Dusty Nelms has filed for re-election as has Auditor-Treasurer Braidy Powers, County Attorney Tim Scannell and Sheriff Mark Falk.
 
James Hall has filed for re-election to Soil and Water District 2.  Incumbent Roger Haertel has filed for 5th District Soil and Water.
 
Filing is done at the at the Auditor-Treasurer’s office, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
