Expect near normal precipitation and temperatures overall this summer

Sunday night’s thunderstorms didn’t dump heavy rains or big winds on Cook County as they did elsewhere. However, they ushered in a cool front after a hot Sunday. Is the cool weather and lack of precipitation a harbinger of things to come...or not?
