Dog Days of Winter celebration on March 8

The first-ever Dog Days of Winter is scheduled for Sunday, March 8th from 11 am until 4 pm at Trail Center Lodge on Poplar Lake. This day-long event features multiple dog sled races, skijoring races, snowman building competitions, snow sculptures and much more.  Mushers and skijorers interested in participating in the fun run can register on-site the day of the event.  The event is hosted by Trail Center Lodge, Cook County Dog Mushers Incorporated and Go Dog North Shore.
