David passed away in February 2018. David and his wife Mary had lived in Lutsen since 2003. In his former life, he was an educator in the art and civics field for 30 years. He photographed primarily wildlife, which made up 90% of his work. He spent hours each day in the field chronicling in photos the birds and animals of Cook County.
