Cook County Schools ISD166 is asking  for community input through a Stake Holder Survey. According to Superintendent Beth Schwarz, all residents are stake holders in the education of county students.

Schwarz says impending declines in enrollment over at least the next two to three school years leave the district with a shrinking budget, and the district is looking for community guidance on what to do.

Which among the many activities and subjects the District deals with are the most important to the students and community? If cuts have to be made, where will they hurt the community and kids the least? Schwarz says the school board will take into consideration stake holder opinions when it decides if and when tit will go to the taxpayers with a referendum to help curb its financial woes.
