Cook County native Jacob Schmidt's band wins Billboard magazine's Battle of the Bands

Musician and Cook County native Jacob Schmidt is part of the band “Gentlemen Hall,” which just won the first ever Billboard magazine Battle of the Bands in Las Vegas. WTIP’s Cathy Quinn spoke with Jacob’s mother Carole Perkins about the band and what’s up next. You can see Jacob and his band play this Sunday at 7 PM on ABC channel 10.
