Clara Waddell is a Lutsen native and winner of a University playwriting contest.  The live reading of ‘Rooted Hearts’ will be April 24th in Minneapolis.  North Shore Morning host Jana Berka finds out more in this interview.
 
Clara is a 2007 graduate of Cook County High School and currently a senior at Metropolitan State University in the Twin Cities.  She is majoring in Screenwriting and English, with a minor in Creative Writing. She will be graduate in December of 2014.
 
The live reading of the play will be held at the Whitney Fine Arts Center (stage door theater), in Minneapolis, on April 24th at 6pm. The three winning plays will be read by a professional cast, and there will be an open discussion with the playwright, director and cast following each play.
