After School Lounge Kids Food Drive March 14-25

Looking for a way to help your neighbors and maybe do a little spring cleaning in the process?  Cook County’s very own After School Lounge kids are putting on a Youth Food Drive through MN Food Share and they’re looking for YOUR help!

All edible and non-perishable donations will be given to the Cook County Food Shelf to help support our neighbors in their time of need. The Food Shelf is especially in need of: canned vegetables ( carrots, peas, beets, and tomatoes) canned or packed potatoes, and small desserts (cookies, donuts, cupcakes, jello, and pudding).

Everyone has something to give and everyone has something to gain, so let’s help our kids do something wonderful for their community and show them we care!

When:  March 14th-25th
Who:  YOU!
What:  Youth Food Drive accepting all non-perishable food
Where:  Drop off sites include Cook County Community Center, Johnson’s Grocery, Gene’s IGA, Cook County Co-op, Sawtooth Mtn. Elementary Office, and Cook County Middle School/High School Office.
