Commissioner discusses racism in Cook County, local schools

During a meeting of the Cook County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, Sept. 26, the topic of racism occurring on the local level was addressed several times.

The issue of racism in Cook County was discussed during the public comment period of Tuesday’s meeting, as well as during the end of the meeting where commissioners discuss topics pertinent to local discussion or county business.

Commissioner Myron Bursheim talks with WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs about the issue of racism in Cook County.
