City seeks answers on climate change

The Grand Marais Public Utilities Commission gets the electricity it delivers to homes and businesses in the city from the Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA). The PUC has asked its power provider to create a plan to deal with climate change.

Rhonda Silence checks in with the PUC to learn about SMMPA's response to the city.

Officials from SMMPA will be in Grand Marais at the next Public Utilities Commission. That meeting will be Wednesday, February 7 at 3 p.m. The meeting is held at Grand Marais City Hall and is open to the public.
