Although Cascade Vacation Rental and Lutsen Real Estate Group have been operating out of the building shared with the North Shore Federal Credit Union in Lutsen for over a decade, the vacation rental company did not own the building until recently.

Business partners Mike Larson and Steve Surbaugh purchased the building from Jeff Latz last fall.

Since purchasing the building there has been some restructuring of office staff--realtors are working more online and some staff moved to space in Grand Marais. That left Surbaugh and Larson wondering what to do with some vacant office space.

WTIP's Rhonda Silence spoke with Mike Larson to get the answer to that question.
