Rob Ecklund is the incumbent for the District 3A seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives. He is running for re-election this year on the DFL ticket. Also appearing on the ballot is Silver Bay resident and Republican Randy Goutermont.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Ecklund and Goutermont on a variety of topics relevant to the North Shore region – including housing, vacation rentals, renewable energy, local roadways and more – as well as a conversation about why each candidate is interested in being a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives.
