Ian Tamblyn is a Juno-award winning folk songwriter hailing from the Thunder Bay area, now living in Quebec. With a career spanning 5 decades, 38 albums, and over 1,000 songs, he's known for traveling to distant, isolated places in the great white North to write songs and get inspired by the qualities of northern places. His music is featured on WTIP's Boundary Waters Podcast. He joins Will Moore for an in-studio session after a performance at the Red Rock Folk Festival in Ontario and talks about adventuring, his latest album "Let it Go", and what it means to experience the Lake Superior region.
