On June 19 a man was killed in a severe storm while camping on Duncan Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Staff from YMCA Camp Menogyn assisted in rescuing people who were camped on Duncan. WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke the director of Camp Menogyn about the incident on Sunday night.
