Baseball coach talks summer league, role of athletics

The local baseball scene was alive and well in Cook County in the summer of 2017. A VFW-sponsored tournament in late July featured members of the local baseball team, which boasts many student-athletes from the Cook County High School baseball team.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with local baseball coach Arleigh Jorgensen about the tournament and the value of playing baseball in the summer months.
