Bakk discusses lieutenant governor quandary

Newly appointed Minnesota Lt. Gov. Michelle Fischbach has publicly stated that she plans to remain a Republican state senator.

This stance has been a source of frustration for DFL Senate Minority Leader Tom Bakk, claiming the Minnesota Constitution prohibits Fischbach from simultaneously holding the offices of state senator and lieutenant governor.
