Artist/jeweler Danny Saathoff's exhibit focuses on climate change; opens Feb. 20 at Grand Marais Art Colony

Danny Saathoff is a Twin Cities jeweler and artist who recently received a grant from the MN State Arts Board for his work, "Swinging the Compass," which focuses on the effects of climate change on Lake Superior. He chatted with Jay about his art, how jewelry and sculpture are related, and the exhibit, which opens Tues.,  Feb. 20, with a talk by Danny at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Marais Art Colony.
