There are many reasons for why people choose to live on the North Shore, but many young people are either born here or move here with family, therefore restricting the idea of living here by choice. In this series, WTIP talks with local youth about what matters the most to them at this time. Do they enjoy living here? What issues are they passionate about? What do they enjoy doing in their free time? Would they like to stay here as young adults and beyond?

Throughout this series, we will also speak with local residents who did grow up here and continue to live here as adults. For them, we will find out what has changed in the community over the years.

It will be a look at the past, the present and the future of the people who live on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
