Joe Friedrichs

Joe joined WTIP in October of 2015. He holds a degree in journalism from the University of Montana, where he graduated in 2005. He has previously worked along the North Shore as a freelance journalist and up the Gunflint Trail as a canoe outfitter. Joe covers the local happenings along the North Shore for WTIP. When he’s not reporting news, Joe can be found at one of his favorite fishing holes in the area or looking for agates with his wife Maggie.
