Boaters required to unplug

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is increasing efforts to stop the spread of invasive water species over this Fourth of July weekend. According to the Associated Press, a new law that took effect July 1 requires boaters to remove drain plugs and drain water before leaving any state lake or river.
